Daily Notes 17-10-2023
Developments
The Uniswap Labs has triggered a fee switch of 0.15% that redirects to Uniswap Labs on specific crypto pairs traded through the native Uniswap frontend.
The 0.15% fee came into effect today and is separate from a $UNI token fee switch which would redirect a percentage of revenue to token holders.
Users may bypass the Labs fee through using aggregators, other frontends or through directly interacting with the smart contracts themselves.
Scroll mainnet has officially launched. So far 1642 ETH ($2.56 million) has been bridged to Scroll. There is also $1.03 million in TVL and 2094 unique users on the network.
BNB Chain launches the ‘BNB Greenfield Mainnet’, a decentralised data storage network that offers fast uploads and downloads, strong privacy/access controls, cross-chain programmability, and data marketplaces where users can freely create, list, trade and sell their data.
While seamlessly connecting with the BNB Smart Chain, the chain also will enable development for the decentralised hosting of AI datasets, a “knowledge economy platform” and IP infrastructure for the tracking and licensing of content.
Fantom Foundation Wallet Drain
Fantom Foundation wallets were drained for $550,000 in total via a “ zero day hack via Google Chrome”. The scammer’s wallets hold $7 million, $3.4 million of which is suspected to have been drained from a separate Fantom employee’s wallet.
Binance Halt Direct USD Withdrawals and Stops Accepting New UK Users

dYdX Public Benefit Corporation
dYdX will not profit from or control the operations, infrastructure, fees, growth or development of any protocol using dYdX v4 (dYdX chain) open source code, as they move to a public benefit corporation.
